Norfolk native Keyshawn Davis advanced further in the boxing rankings with a unanimous decision victory over Miguel Madueno on Saturday night in Newark, New Jersey.
Davis secured his 11th professional win with all three judges scoring the fight 99-91 in his favor.
One of Davis’s standout moments came in the fourth round, where he landed an impressive 34 out of 61 punches.
Throughout the fight, Keyshawn achieved a 49 percent overall punch accuracy, including a 53 percent accuracy rate with his power punches.
Ranked between 3rd and 5th in the lightweight division by various organizations, Davis is eyeing matchups with top contenders and aims to compete for major titles in the near future.
