A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Ozarks, according to the latest reports from Springfield, Missouri.
The National Weather Service of Springfield has issued a watch for parts of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma until midnight.
According to Meteorologist Matt Hefner, the primary concern is the potential for severe weather, particularly large hail and strong winds. Although the risk of a tornado is relatively low, it still exists.
