Vickie Paladino takes on New York City’s migrant crisis without holding back.

The New York Post’s report on the placement of migrant shelters across various zip codes in New York City has triggered a storm of emotions. Community leaders and politicians in Queens are particularly outraged as their neighborhoods have been burdened with the majority of the problem, hosting 70 out of 193 migrant shelters. Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, who represents District 19 in Northeast Queens, has been one of the most vocal critics of the shelter plan and sanctuary city designation. She did not mince her words when she expressed her displeasure on 710 WOR’s Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning program.

According to Paladino, the issue of Venezuelan migrants is the most pressing problem that the city is currently facing. He stated that these migrants have formed alliances with local gangs and have become increasingly violent. Despite their actions not being considered as serious crimes, they are able to get away with it and are released shortly after being arrested. Paladino believes that this is a clear indication of third-world crime taking place in the city and it is a situation that is completely out of control.

Paladino didn’t hold back in attributing Rochester’s issues to President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris. She made her stance clear, asserting that Biden should be held accountable for the problems. She criticized Harris, calling her a “cackling witch” who has not visited the border. Paladino suggested that Harris should “just shut up,” and added that everyone has had enough of her. Paladino questioned who is really in charge of the country, since Biden and Harris have failed to address the issues at the border.
