The 46-year-old man killed in north Minneapolis has been identified

TaVaughn LaMarr Combs, aged 46, has been identified as the victim of the homicide that occurred in Minneapolis on Friday.

At around 7:40 a.m., Minneapolis PD received a call and found Combs deceased at the 2100 block of Thomas Ave North. He was discovered five hours after a ShotSpotter had been activated in the area of 21st Ave North and Uptown Ave North.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, the man’s death was caused by a gunshot wound to his torso.

No one has been taken into custody for his murder.

“Spunky” was a beloved digital creator in the Twin Cities, as indicated by his Facebook profile. Following his passing, numerous friends and family members took to the social media platform to express their grief.
