Teen Girls Accused Of Killing A D.C. Man Who Took Selfies After Killing Him

According to prosecutors, the girls accused of fatally beating 64-year-old Reggie Brown took photos after filming the incident. A hearing revealed this information.

One of the freshly arrested females attacked a deputy US Marshal and was taken away on a stretcher, disrupting the court.

Authorities have yet to identify or arrest the adult person shown in the video who started the attack on Brown.

Officers came to the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, at 12:54 p.m. on October 17, 2023, and discovered Brown with blunt force trauma. On the spot, they pronounced him dead.

Police arrested two 13-year-old females and a 12-year-old for second-degree murder between March 28 and 29, respectively. Just hours before her arrest, the 12-year-old had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

On March 29, Detective Harry Singleton testified in court, indicating that there was no evidence Brown knew the girls. Before the incident, a guy in blue escorted Brown, who was physically disabled and missing digits on both hands, across Georgia Avenue.
