The area is currently under a marginal risk, which is the first level of five, for severe storms. The primary threats from these storms include damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, and isolated large hail. The highest chances for measurable rainfall are expected during this time, particularly in locations such as Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester, and Jamestown.
According to the latest weather forecast, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 81°F today, accompanied by a 65% chance of thunderstorms. However, after the storms clear out, the weather in western New York is likely to be delightful. Thursday is anticipated to be sunny, with the temperature rising to 77°F. The rest of the weekend will follow suit, with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Friday’s high is predicted to be 80°F, followed by 84°F on Saturday, and 87°F on Sunday.
The upcoming week is expected to maintain its warm temperatures, with a possibility of showers making a comeback by Tuesday. The forecast for Monday predicts partly cloudy skies with a high of 86°F. As for Tuesday, there’s a 40% chance of rain with temperatures peaking at 86°F.
