Security guard at New York City migrant shelter arrested for allegedly molesting two young sisters: sources

A security guard was arrested for allegedly abusing two young sisters at an Upper West Side migrant shelter on Monday evening, according to law enforcement sources.

According to cops and sources, alleged stalker Oscar Delgado, 38, allegedly grabbed both the 11- and 8-year-old siblings in the shelter’s hallway on West 88th Street near Riverside Drive at 7 p.m.

Delgado approached the children while they were playing and allegedly massaged the older girl’s buttocks, fondled her, and attempted to place his hands in her pants, according to investigators.

According to police, the sicko then turned to the younger sister and touched her vagina over her clothing.

According to sources, the elder daughter told her mother about the disturbing behavior, and she phoned 911.

We brought the two girls who had been living at the shelter to Mount Sinai Morningside for treatment.

Officials detained Delgado on the scene and charged him with sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering a child.

The facility, which was previously known as the New York Institute of Technology’s Riverside Terrace Residence Hall, opened as an emergency refuge during the migrant crisis last year, according to The Post.

There were 125 rooms in the structure.
