A man was shot on Wednesday morning on Dayton Street between Bauman Street and Hudson Avenue in Rochester, NY. At the same time, law enforcement had stopped a suspect vehicle on Joseph Avenue, which is nearby.
Rochester Police swiftly responded to an alert from ShotSpotter at approximately 1:50 am. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim and immediately administered life-saving first aid. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries.
The police are currently investigating the lead concerning the vehicle found on Joseph Avenue.
