Traffic Stop in Lyons Leads to Arrests on Multiple Charges
LYONS, N.Y. — State Troopers in Lyons attempted to stop a vehicle on Route 14 on Saturday, December 21, at 9:04 p.m. The driver refused to comply, resulting in a brief pursuit that ended at the intersection of Route 14 and Alloway Road.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Tevin Devante Bracey of Weaver Street, was arrested on multiple charges, including felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree (alcohol/drug-related), obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, unlawful fleeing of police in a motor vehicle, false impersonation, and reckless driving.
Bracey’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was taken to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment at CAP Court. He was released under Pre-Trial Services and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on January 7, 2025.
A passenger in the vehicle, 23-year-old Patience LaRock of Canal Street, was arrested for criminal impersonation in the second degree after allegedly providing police with her sister’s name. She was also charged with first-degree robbery on a Superior Court warrant related to a September 28 incident involving the display of what appeared to be a firearm.
LaRock was held on bail and will appear in Lyons Town Court on January 7, 2025, for the criminal impersonation charge. She is also scheduled to appear in Wayne County Court on January 28, 2025, regarding the Superior Court warrant.
