The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has provided additional details about the investigation into the death of a man from Wichita.
Fountain Road was shut down in both directions for several hours by Jasper County deputies. The initial investigation is still ongoing, and limited information has been disclosed.
However, authorities have assured the public that there is no apparent danger, and foul play is not believed to be involved.
Jasper County Coroner, James Harrison, has stated that there were no apparent signs of physical injury upon his initial examination. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
