One person is in custody after two people set fire in northwest Oklahoma City

Tuesday morning saw the setting of two people on fire, leading to one arrest.

Officials report that on Tuesday, they purposefully set a man and a woman on fire and rushed them to a nearby hospital.

According to MSgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department, “another person walked up to them and intentionally set them on fire.”

According to investigators, both individuals suffered significant burns. Investigators expect the male to survive, but the wife’s condition is critical.

Officials report that they arrested 70-year-old Michael Madison on Tuesday for multiple offenses, including first-degree arson.
