North East Mall in Hurst goes into lockdown following gun incident

In Hurst, Texas, two individuals were apprehended on Sunday for brandishing firearms at North East Mall.

Officers responded to a report of a weapon being fired in the food court of the mall.

Backup was called for by the officers, resulting in the mall being put on lockdown.

The officers discovered that there was no discharge of a weapon.

According to investigators, two males engaged in a verbal argument and both individuals brandished handguns. However, no shots were fired during the altercation.

Officers apprehended both men separately in different locations near the area.

The two individuals have been accused of disorderly conduct and may potentially face additional charges.

The mall is now operating under normal conditions.

The identities of the men involved and their ages have not been disclosed by the police.
