A 22-year-old man from Medina was arrested on multiple charges after reportedly threatening staff at Alexander Central School with an air pistol on Wednesday evening, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyler Bull was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute in the school parking lot around 6 p.m., during which he physically assaulted a woman. When school staff attempted to intervene, Bull reportedly brandished what appeared to be a handgun. However, upon further investigation, authorities discovered the weapon was a CO2-powered air pistol.
Bull was taken into custody without resistance. The incident did not pose a threat to students or staff at the school, and no further danger is expected. The female victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Bull is currently being held at the Genesee County Jail awaiting arraignment.
