Kosciusko Police Investigate $3,000 Liquor Purchase with Questionable Credit Cards

Kosciusko Police Seek Two in $3,000 Liquor Purchase Investigation

Kosciusko authorities are looking to question two individuals following a suspicious $3,000 liquor purchase at The Hive Wine & Spirits on Veterans Memorial Drive.

According to Police Chief Greg Collins, the purchase occurred on the evening of December 3, with the individuals reportedly using multiple credit cards to complete the transaction. After the pair left the store, the clerk noticed the cards had initially been marked as invalid.

By Wednesday afternoon, the clerk informed detectives that the transaction had ultimately gone through. Despite this, the individuals are being sought for questioning regarding potential suspicious credit card activity.

The police have released surveillance images of the suspects and are asking the public to assist in identifying them. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more details about the incident.
