Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow’s Home Targeted in Break-In During Monday Night Game
The Cincinnati Bengals’ season has been full of challenges, and while the team managed to secure a victory over the Dallas Cowboys, improving their record to 5-8, the misfortune continued off the field.
According to a Cincinnati-based reporter, police were called to the home of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow during Monday night’s game after a report of a break-in.
Karin Johnson, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, reported that the call to authorities described a tense situation:
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should go outside,” the caller said, according to Johnson.
The daughter of the homeowner also called 911, stating, “Someone broke into my house… It’s like completely messed up.”
This break-in follows a similar incident involving Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, whose homes were also targeted during a Monday night game. The series of incidents highlights growing concerns about the safety of high-profile athletes and the need for better security measures.
