According to a report by Chad Pergram on X, it has been discovered that Vice President-elect JD Vance underwent a scheduled minor surgery at George Washington Hospital this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Vance stated that the surgery was for his sinuses and had been planned for some time. They further added that Vance is expected to return to work tomorrow.
In the meantime, Vance continues to serve as a senator and was present on Capitol Hill earlier today for the swearing-in of new senators by Vice President Harris.
