Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas assures RNC that border order will be reinstated by Trump

According to Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX), who is currently working hard to bolster security at the Mexico border amidst the border crisis during the Biden administration, he sees a glimmer of hope with the potential re-election of former President Donald Trump.

During his speech at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday evening in Milwaukee, Governor Abbott expressed optimism for the future, stating that he sees hope on the horizon. He confidently declared that on November 5th, Joe Biden will be fired, and Donald Trump will once again become the President of the United States of America.

According to Abbott, the time has come to bring back stability to the border and eliminate the prevalent crime and disorder. He believes that the only way to secure the nation is by reinstating Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America.

During another moment on Wednesday evening that brought attention to border security issues, the audience began chanting “Build that wall,” a phrase that was a key part of Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016.

From the beginning of 2021, Governor Abbott has taken action to address the increasing number of illegal immigrant arrests in Texas. To assist with security along the state’s 1,250 miles of shared border with Mexico, he has deployed over 10,000 state and local police personnel as well as state National Guard soldiers.

State authorities have spent several billion dollars in their efforts to combat illegal immigration. Their actions have resulted in the arrest of over 512,000 undocumented immigrants and the seizure of more than half a billion lethal doses of fentanyl from drug smugglers. It’s worth noting that all of these drugs managed to pass through federal authorities before being intercepted by state officials.

During the convention, Jim Chilton, a fifth-generation cattle rancher, shared his firsthand experience of the impact of President Joe Biden’s policies on the Arizona border. He revealed that his property, which spans five miles along the border, captured over 5,000 illegal immigrants on outdoor cameras since April. This staggering number is a testament to the severity of the situation and the urgent need for effective border control measures.

According to Chilton, these individuals are not seeking asylum; instead, they are invading the country. “It feels like an invasion because that’s exactly what it is,” he stated.

Located in the southwestern region of Arizona, Darid Lara is the proud owner of a water purification business.

Lara addressed the GOP attendees, painting a vivid picture of strangers invading their homes, yards, and local schools, causing terror. She went on to describe how the fire department had to resort to using off-road vehicles to transport their neighbors to the hospital due to ambulances being occupied by individuals claiming asylum.

Tom Homan, the former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, took to the stage to endorse Trump and issue a strong warning to illegal immigrants about what a second term would entail.

Homan gave a stern warning, “Pack your bags now. You’re definitely going home.”
