State troopers in Lyons attempted to stop a vehicle on Route 14 on Saturday evening, December 21, at 9:04 p.m. The driver, later identified as 32-year-old Tevin Devante Bracey of 111 Weaver Street, refused to stop, leading to a brief pursuit that ended at the intersection of Route 14 and Alloway Road in Lyons.
Bracey was arrested and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree (alcohol/drug-related), obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, false impersonation, and reckless driving.
His vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was taken to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment. He was released on pretrial services and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on January 7, 2025.
Patience LaRock, 23, of 77 Canal Street in Lyons, a passenger in Bracey’s vehicle, was arrested for criminal impersonation in the second degree after she provided police with her sister’s name. LaRock was also charged on a Superior Court warrant for first-degree robbery, involving the display of what appeared to be a firearm, in connection with a September 28 incident.
LaRock was held on bail and is set to appear in Lyons Town Court on January 7, 2025, for the criminal impersonation charge, and in Wayne County Court on January 28, 2025, regarding the robbery warrant.
