According to the Attorney General, a significant trafficking operation in Pennsylvania has been disrupted, leading to the arrest of numerous individuals, the confiscation of pounds of drugs, and the seizure of over a dozen firearms.
A total of 20 people were charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and other charges, including illegal firearm possession for some of the defendants.
Anthony “Bang” Blake, 45, has been accused by the Attorney General of being the mastermind behind the operation. He has been arraigned on nine felony charges, including corrupt organizations, drug offenses, and firearms offenses. Currently, he is in custody with bail set at $500,000.
Also arrested are: Blake, Kenneth McCall, Tyrone Hayward, Shawn Sanford, Zamir Allen, Irvin Sanders, Clifford Nixon, Ramses Rodriguez, Anthony Brown, Monica Cleveland, Amber Tressler, Carlos Alvelo, Norberto Toldeo, Christopher Ramos, Jerime Jones, and Jillian Carrington. Three others – Khalil Rippy, Terrell Brice, and Jonathan Cruz – have warrants out for their arrest.
“With Mr. Blake allegedly at the top of the chain, all of the charged defendants were traffickers, so this arrest operation put a stop to a large network of dealers in Philadelphia,” Attorney General Henry said. “It is well known that most drug traffickers use firearms to protect their trade, and the great collaboration between law enforcement in this case removes nearly two dozen traffickers from the streets.”
