Donald Trump is set to hold his initial western Pennsylvania rally in 2024 this Saturday at the Butler County Farm Show grounds.
On Tuesday, a team ahead of the rally was present at the location, examining the grounds. Although the precise location of the venue hasn’t been disclosed, there is a spacious open field available with generators.
According to Robert Bricker of Pierno Logistics, he will be responsible for transporting the lights needed for the rally. “I’ll be setting up starting today and will continue throughout the rest of the week,” Bricker stated.
According to the staff at the show grounds office, they anticipate the sale of 15,000 tickets for the rally, as reported by KDKA-TV.
PennDOT has revealed that construction work on Route 68, which is the main road leading to the show grounds, may create some issues. While there won’t be any work on Saturdays, there will be lane restrictions, resulting in only one lane being available for incoming and outgoing traffic. This may cause some inconvenience for those attending the event.
Butler County proved to be a stronghold for Trump in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, with him securing 65 percent of the votes on both occasions.
On Saturday, Pittsburgh will welcome the presence of First Lady Jill Biden. According to the White House, she is scheduled to address an Italian Sons and Daughters of America dinner, as announced on Wednesday.
