Domestic Dispute Leads to Arrest of Great Bend Woman for Aggravated Battery

On Thursday, December 5, at around 10:44 a.m., officers from the Great Bend Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at The University of Kansas Health System, located at 514 Cleveland Street in Great Bend.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Judy Goodman, 68, had assaulted the other party in the altercation with a mop handle. As a result, Goodman was arrested on charges of aggravated battery. She was transported to the Barton County Jail, booked, and held on a $75,000 bond related to the charges.
