Contractor in Oklahoma City faces fraud charges in several counties

The Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office has filed charges against an Oklahoma City contractor accused of defrauding clients of more than $39,000.

The AG’s Office has reported that Paris Bilbro, a 29-year-old individual, along with his company AMG Construction Group, entered into agreements with customers in Lawton, McLoud, and Tuttle for roof repairs spanning a two-month period in 2023.

According to reports, Bilbro’s clients made upfront payments for the repairs, but unfortunately, the work was never finished, and they never received a refund for their money.

In March, News 4 interviewed one of Bilbro’s clients who shared their experience of paying over $14,000 to fix a roof leak in October 2023. However, despite the payment, the issue was never resolved.

Bilbro is currently facing charges for three counts of embezzlement and one count of a pattern of criminal offenses.

If you think you have been deceived by Bilbro or AMG Construction Group, reach out to the Consumer Protection Unit of the Attorney General’s Office at (405) 521-2029 or ConsumerProtection@oag.ok.gov, advises the AG’s Office.
