Cold Front Brings Cooler Weather to Southeast Texas Ahead of Christmas
Southeast Texas is experiencing a shift to colder temperatures as a cold front moved through the region on Wednesday, bringing rain and cooler air. By Wednesday night, temperatures were expected to dip further into the low-to-mid 40s.
Thursday morning will start cloudy, but sunshine is forecasted to break through later in the day. Daytime highs will reach the mid-60s, with Houston and Galveston expected to hit 63 degrees. Clear skies are predicted for Thursday night, with lows in the mid-40s, although areas like Huntsville and College Station may experience temperatures in the low-40s.
The upcoming weekend is expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the low-60s and overnight lows remaining in the mid-40s. However, by Monday, a brief return to spring-like conditions is anticipated, with highs reaching the low 70s. A chance of thunderstorms is forecasted for Tuesday.
