Man, woman charged in connection with deadly restaurant shooting in south St. Louis

The Circuit Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Katrina Kelly, 33, and Kyle Penton, 37, in relation to the tragic shooting incident.

A shooting at a south St. Louis restaurant, which occurred over a week ago, has resulted in charges being filed against a man and a woman. The incident tragically caused the death of one person and left three others injured.

The Circuit Attorney’s Office has pressed charges against Katrina Kelly, 33, and Kyle Penton, 37, in relation to the fatal shooting that took place at Sam’s Southern Eatery on Gravois Avenue.

According to the police, there was a shooting incident involving a woman, a 29-year-old man, and a 34-year-old man. All three individuals were discovered with gunshot wounds and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Tragically, the woman, identified as 32-year-old Amber Williams from Florissant, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A man who was 32 years old arrived at the St. Louis hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to his hand.

According to the authorities, the condition of all three men is stable.

According to the police, Kelly confessed that she had driven the men to the area in her car.

Kelly and Penton faced charges of first-degree murder, three counts of assault, and four counts of armed criminal action.

Both individuals were being held without bond.
