A Liberty man is facing charges and has a warrant issued for his arrest in relation to a shooting incident at a Gladstone apartment.
A shooting that took place in November has led to the charging of Ja’rrell J. Ledbetter, a 21-year-old resident of Liberty, according to court records filed on Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court.
On November 22, a criminal complaint from the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office unveiled that Ledbetter is accused of firing a firearm at an apartment near N. Oak Trafficway and NE 59th St. in Gladstone.
According to court records, Ledbetter was issued a warrant for his arrest on Nov. 22. The warrant included a condition of a $150,000 bond. Ledbetter is facing charges for shooting a firearm at a habitable structure.
Ledbetter does not appear to be in custody as of Saturday, Dec. 14. There is currently no additional information available regarding his situation.
