Sgt. Charles Marchan reported that the male victim was found with slash wounds all over his body at the mall’s parking deck, and the New Jersey State Police troopers responded to the scene before 11 p.m.
According to Marchan, the suspect was taken into custody, while the victim was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
After being discovered in the parking deck, Raquan Howard was apprehended and charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and possession of a weapon with an unlawful purpose. He is currently being held at Bergen County Jail and is awaiting his detention hearing.
