A man from Buffalo, Iowa, won $50,000 after winning the top prize on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
According to Iowa Lottery authorities, Dale Miller bought his winning “$50,000 Super Crossword” ticket at the Express Lane Gas & Food Mart in Buffalo.
Miller picked up his prize on Friday, July 26 at the Iowa Lottery office in Cedar Rapids.
According to lottery officials, participants have won more than $5.8 billion in rewards since Hawkeye State’s lottery began in 1985. Furthermore, the games have generated more than $2.4 billion for state programs, including the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund.
