A GoFundMe campaign has been established for an Endicott man who was severely injured in an accident in Morristown, New Jersey.
On December 11, Nick Pisani, 23, was involved in a serious collision while driving from New York City to his home in Endicott. After stopping for gas, Pisani re-entered traffic when a tree fell onto his car. First responders initially feared the worst, believing it was a fatal incident.
However, Nick survived the accident despite sustaining serious injuries, including a severe skull fracture and a brain bleed. His head went through the sunroof during the impact.
Pisani is currently recovering in the ICU, and his family reports that he remains positive despite the challenges ahead. The young man faces a long road to recovery, as he is left without a vehicle or the ability to work for the foreseeable future. As of now, the GoFundMe campaign has raised $22,983 towards its goal of $26,000.
