A fatal accident occurred in Pike County, Mississippi, resulting in the death of one individual. The crash involved two vehicles.
The accident happened on Monday, December 2, around 5:30 p.m., on Highway 570.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), a 2013 Cadillac SRX was heading east on the highway when it crashed into a 2000 Ford Expedition traveling in the opposite direction.
According to troopers, the driver of the Cadillac, Henson Childers, aged 66 and hailing from Jayess, suffered fatal injuries in the accident and passed away at the scene.
The authorities at MHP are still investigating the crash.
