On Tuesday, a home in Indiana was the site of a heartening discovery: a boy who had been reported missing nearly two years prior was found safe and sound.
On July 18, 2022, the Mooresville Police Department received a report from the father of 3-year-old Steven Bryan that the child was missing. The authorities believed that Steven was in the company of his mother, Deborah Bryan, and her boyfriend, Caleb Blevins.
The Indiana State Police discovered the boy, his mother, and Blevins at a residence in Bloomington at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
After the investigation, the child was placed under protective custody and will be handed over to the Department of Child Services. Further inquiries are still ongoing.
According to the police, Deborah Bryan was taken into custody for obstructing a custody warrant from Morgan County. It has been revealed that additional charges will be imposed on those who aided her in the future.
The Mooresville Police Department expressed their gratitude towards Indiana State Police, the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center, and the United States Marshals for their valuable support throughout the extensive investigation.
