A lucky individual from Massachusetts is rejoicing as they have just won a whopping $1 million from the Massachusetts State Lottery. It’s a momentous occasion for this Bay Stater.
On Thursday, July 25th, the Bonus 100X Trust of Braintree was awarded the prize money for winning the $10 scratch-off game called “Bonus 100X”. The trust collected the check for their winnings.
Instead of opting for the annuity, the winner decided to receive a lump-sum payment of $650,000.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Premier Petrol, located at 82 River St. in Mattapan. As a result, the store is set to receive a $10,000 bonus for making the sale.
On Thursday, the largest jackpot of $1 million was won by a lucky player.
