Meservey man jailed for firing shots inside city limits
MESERVEY — A man remains jailed after being accused of firing shots inside the city limits of Meservey. The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department says they responded to a call of shots being fired shortly after 5:30 Sunday evening to 238 3rd Street South in Meservey. The department says their investigation led to the arrest of 60-year-old Kevin Meints, as they accuse him of discharging a firearm from his residence. He was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm within city limits. Meints at last check was being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $300 bond.
